About the Bulldogs

The Moranbah Bulldogs are seeking the services of a Senior Men’s Coach and players for the 2022 Season!

The Senior Men’s Moranbah Bulldogs team returned to the AFL Mackay competition in 2019 after 2 years. The 2020 covid effected season proved a big task to keep the team going however it was back in 2021 with up to 70 players playing at least 1 game throughout the year. The Club was formed in 1975.

A fantastic opportunity has become available to lead the team into 2022 and beyond with the future looking bright! With our club now boasting full junior and senior teams including Under 8/10/12/14/17 Junior boys and girls and a very successful senior women’s campaign in 2021, the club is set up well for future success both on and off field.

Referred to as the ‘new kid on the block', Moranbah is one of the youngest towns in Queensland. Moranbah was specifically created for miners and their families and though the town has grown and developed, many have remained within their ‘home town' because of its rich charm and emanating warmth.

Today Moranbah takes pleasure in an abundance of modern facilities. It is often described as the hub of the Isaac Region, offering most services you will find in the bigger towns. The town's newly refurbished town centre includes an interesting water feature and new child's play area creating a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a coffee break with friends at the local bakery while entertaining the kids.

Due to Moranbah's locality within the region, it is central to a lot of great places to visit and do.

We are very lucky to have a range of mining and mine services jobs a d career paths available to us with some employers offering housing or other accomodation.


Relocation assistance and match payments

The Moranbah Bulldogs are a not for profit community based association and are not currently in a position to offer any financial assistance for relocation. We are however willing and able to direct you to the right pathways should we be your next destination.

We can offer assistance finding employment and accomodation for the right people, we are very lucky to be based in the Bowen Basin Coal mining area with a large range of jobs and career pathways available offering above award wages and an opportunity to set your self (and family) up for the future, not just in footy.
